We have a blog!
Hi Friends,
It’s been many, many weeks since we’ve been able to get out and cook with you in person. While staying home wasn’t in our initial 2020 plans, we’re grateful for all the positive things that have come from slowing down our lives.
One of those positives is having time to add this blog to our website! It will be our space to share recipes, news, and fun BBQ information in more detail than we can via our usual Instagram posts.

We’re Stephanie & Travis Barr.
Together, we run All Up In My Grill BBQ; a family-owned & operated catering and competition BBQ team. We fell in love with competition BBQ after participating in a 2017 Nevada Barbecue Spring Training event. Since then, we’ve continued to make friends and grow our BBQ family. We are proud members of the Nevada Barbecue Association and are happy to be active in the Nevada BBQ community. Feel free to message us with questions about how to get involved!
One of the best things about barbecue is that it is a family-friendly passion. Joining us at the grill are two pitmasters-in-training (a.k.a. Team All Up In My Grill Jr.). Dean is already loving competition BBQ life and Samantha is eager to enter her first KidsQ. Hopefully, the fall season opens back up!
At the end of 2019, we had an exciting addition to our family: King Barkles Barkley Barr! We’re a longtime Labrador family and had been without a dog for too long. Barkles found us after his former family needed to re-home him. He is an awesome dog and loves his new BBQ life.
Whether we’re camping, competing, or backyard grilling, you can be sure that we’re having a delicious time. Thanks for being here and allowing us to share some BBQ love with you! We’re excited to see where this adventure takes us.

Odds & Ends
Q: What kind of smoker do you use?
A: We love a variety of cookers including 270 Smokers, Weber kettle grills, a GMG Davy Crockett, an off set, or a good ol’ campfire.
Q: What kind of wood do you smoke with?
A: Our favorites our apple, cherry, pecan, and hickory.
Q: Bourbon or Tequila?
A: Bourbon, all the way. Maker’s Mark if you’ve got it.
